Ron Burgundy is the top-rated anchorman in San Diego in the '70s. When feminism marches into the newsroom in the form of ambitious newswoman Veronica Corningstone, Ron is willing to play along at first-as long as Veronica stays in her place, covering cat fashion shows, cooking, and other "female" interests. But when Veronica refuses to settle for being eye candy and steps behind the news desk, it's more than a battle between two perfectly coiffed anchor-persons... it's war.

The film stars Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner and Fred Willard with memorable cameos by Jack Black, Vince Vaughn, Luke Wilson, Ben Stiller and Tim Robbins.  It was written by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay and directed by Adam McKay.  The movie was released in 2004 and eventually made over 85 million dollars at the box office and was considered a hit in theatres and on video.

A fanlisting is exactly what it says it is. A listing of fans for one particular subject from around the world. The idea for them came from Janine Mischor who decided to find out how many Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans were out there. The idea expanded into The Fanlistings network, where you can get more information on joining thousands of other fanlistings, and maybe even build your own.

I am just a HUGE fan of this movie.  I thought it was so uniquely funny and it never fails to make me smile.  So, needless to say, I'm very pleased to have been approved for the fanlisting for it. (After nearly 3 years of trying!)
