A fanlisting is exactly what it says it is. A listing of fans for one particular subject from around the world. The idea for them came from Janine Mischor who decided to find out how many Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans were out there. The idea expanded into The Fanlistings network, where you can get more information on joining thousands of other fanlistings, and maybe even build your own.

The title of this fanlsting comes from the season one episode "The Soldier On the Grave" in which Brennan refers to Booth as being "idealistic".  It's a great word to describe his character, because of his morality and responsibility, and I thought it a very fitting title.

I applied for this fanlisting because, well, Booth is awesome.  Isn't that obvious?  Not only is he a moralcenter to the show, he's also just damn cool.  Though he takes his job seriously, as well as the penance he feels he has to pay for his past, he never takes himself too seriously and that's what makes him so great.  He still knows how to have a laugh.  Plus, he wears fantastic ties & belt buckles AND he knows that comic book fans are 'geeks' not 'nerds'.  What's not to love?
