What is a fanlisting?
A fanlisting is exactly what it says it is.  A listing of fans for one particular subject from around the world.  The idea for them came from Janine Mischor who decided to find out how many Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans were out there.  The idea expanded into The Fanlistings network, where you can get more information on joining thousands of other fanlistings, and maybe even build your own.

About Michael Rosenbaum
Michael was born on July 11, 1972 in Oceanside, New York, but spent his childhood years in Indiana.  His interest in acting came early and he earned a Bachelor of Arts from Western Kentucky University.  After college, Michael moved to New York City where he worked in several off-Broadway productions and became a regular on the Conan O'Brien show.  He was involved in a few independent films during this time, but it was his small role in the Clint Eastwood directed film, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" that was his first major feature film.  He later co-starred as Parker Riley, the wisecracking party-guy in the slasher film, "Urban Legend" which is where he was first noticed by many fans for his scene-stealing performance.  Michael's first stint as a star on a WB show, was as Jack on the sitcom "Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane".  Unfortunately, that run was short-lived, but Michael's career was only just beginning.  His other film credits include "Sweet November", "Bringing Down The House", "Poolhall Junkies" and "Sorority Boys".  His biggest claim to fame, thusfar, is probably his role as Lex Luthor on the WB's hit show "Smallville". (Thursdays at 8 p.m.)  As of the fall 2006-2007 season, "Smallville" will still be going strong on the new CW network.

He is also an accomplished voice actor, performing the voice of "The Flash" on "Justice League", and lending his voice to other animated projects such as "Batman Beyond", "The Zeta Project" and "The Wild Thornberries".  In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing hockey, golfing and playing the guitar.  He resides in Vancouver during Smallville's filming schedule, but normally resides in Los Angeles.

About 'Dynamic'
I named this site 'Dynamic' because I thought it was a great way to describe Michael's wide range of talents.  Not only is he an extremely gifted dramatic actor, he has an amazing flair for comedy as well.  He can be serious and intense, dry and sarcastic or downright outrageous.  And, he is one of the few young actors working today that can fit into nearly every style of film or television there is.

Personally, while I remember Michael in the film, "Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil", it was his stand-out performance in the movie "Urban Legend" that made me a true fan.  In fact, the first thing I did when I came home from the movie theatre was look him up online and try to learn what I could about him.  Since then I have followed his career every step along the way, and have only become more of a fan with each project that he does.  He's extremely talented, but more than that, when off-camera, Michael seems like a wonderful, funny and very humble guy.

I had the pleasure of meeting Michael when he was at the premiere of 'Pirates of the Caribbean' in late June of 2003.  I had no idea he was going to be there and it was one of the greatest surprises I've ever had.  It seemed as if some of the other fans didn't recognize him at first because his hair was grown out, and most folks are used to seeing him shaved for his role as Lex Luthor.  My friend Morgan and I recognized him immediately, and got him to come over for a picture and to sign an autograph.  He was extremely kind and sweet, and it was an absolute thrill.  Not to mention, he had one of those credit-card sized cameras with him and took a picture of the two of us as he was walking up to meet us.  You can view (but not steal), the picture here.
